The Soo International 500 is a crown jewel of snowmobile racing, exemplifying a complete team effort that showcases riders, crew and equipment. While ice oval enduro racing has been at the fringes of the sport for quite some time, it is still a proving grounds for the OEMs and nobody takes the event more seriously than Polaris.
The 2020 factory effort will feature two machines that have been meticulously prepped at the company’s race shop in Rothschild, Wisconsin by racing coordinator Ben Hayes. Gabe Bunke, Aaron Christensen and Taylor Bunke will pilot the number 74 racer. Ryan Faust, Alex Hetteen and Travis Faust will hold the reigns on the number 37 steed.
Soo week kicks off on Monday January 27, culminating with race day on February 1.
