The Sportsman classes at a TORC race offer a little something for everyone. The Super Stock Truck final featured at least four different leaders including Gatlin Kheener’s Whiskey Express.

The surface at ERX is among the most premo of any dirt track we’ve visited in 45 years.

Elliot Burns is known for getting his hands dirty as a crew member for the Hord Pro truck team and Scheuring Speed Sports snocross team. On Saturday he dove in head first as the driver of Scheuring’s new Pro MOD UTV effort.

Burns lowered his lap times by over six seconds during the weekend and was running as high as seventh late in the class final before having cooling issues. 9th overall.

Brad Seevers is another well known figure in snowmobile racing who is making a name for himself behind the wheel of a Pro MOD UTV.

Staying true to his employer Polaris Factory Racing, Seevers pilots an RZR for Bikeman Performance.

These guys are a big part of all things ERX. Pro Light contender Andrew Carlson and ERX Director of Business Development Jeremy Meyer.

Motorsports history is dotted with giants and legends. Scott Douglas is a bit of each.

The Pro UTV classes debuted at ERX last summer. With their reasonably low cost of entry, they have become the fasted growing segment of TORC.

In addition to his company’s success in the snowmobile aftermarket, Straightline Performance Inc. honcho Jason Houle has been part of the UTV racing scene since it’s inception.

SPI backed racer Zac Zakowski finished an impressive fourth in the Pro MOD UTV final.

CM’s Andrew Carlson was making a bid for his second career Pro Light win but hooked a rut and cartwheeled out of contention while trying to pass for the lead.

Scheuring Speed Sports brought their full mobile marketing campaign to ERX with snocross sponsors U.S. Air Force and AMSOIL getting behind the UTV program in a big way.

The course at ERX is as scenic as they get, with plenty of blind rises and elevation changes among the north woods.

The big boss, Chris Carlson, was wearing many hats during the weekend. Racer dad, track owner and, unfortunately, captain of the cleanup crew as the entire scoring tower behind him was wiped out in the storm that rolled through on Sunday.
