Wes Selby Returns as Lead Pro While Newest Team Members, Jesse and Gabby Hallstrom, Lead Semi-Pro and Pro Women Classes Respectively
The legendary Christian Brothers Racing (CBR) team has assembled an arsenal of top-level riding talent for the 2022-2023 cross country race season and is looking to bring home several championships on their Ski-Doo sponsored snowmobiles.
“Christian Brothers Racing is such a great team to have on board” stated Carey Daku Ski-Doo Racing Coordinator. “Their dedication to the sport is second to none and the lineup they’re bringing this year with drivers, mechanics and support is top tier.”
PRO – WES SELBY #15
Leading the CBR team in the Pro class is Wes Selby, hailing from Grand Lake, Colorado. Wes will be devoting a full time effort to cross-country racing this season rather than splitting time Hillclimbing also. Selby’s ace mechanic/tuner, Betsy Steffl, has a proven winning record with the CBR team in many racing disciplines, and the duo are setting their sights on returning to championship contention.
“I’m looking forward to my second season aboard the Ski-Doo 600. This winter I’ll be focusing 100% on cross country racing and will be relocating back to Minnesota to work and test out of the top-notch CBR facility.” – Wes Selby @wselby15
SEMI-PRO – JESSE HALLSTROM #136
Named COR Powersports, “Rookie of the Year” last season, one of the newest CBR team members is Jesse Hallstrom. Hallstrom has quickly proven himself as a top contender weekend after weekend on the national cross-country circuit. He’ll be paired with former (5-time) I-500 winner, Bryan Dyrdahl, as his tuner/mechanic.
“I’ve always admired and dreamed of racing for the CBR Team ever since I first walked in their shop as a kid racing 120’s. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor and mechanic than Bryan. It’s going to be a great season.” – Jesse Hallstrom @jesse_hallstrom136
PRO WOMEN – #236 GABBY HALLSTROM
Capturing checkered flags runs in the Hallstrom family bloodline, and Gabby Hallstrom has seen her fair share of wins, especially after securing the Sport Women’s championship last season on the COR Powersports cross-country circuit.
“I’ve got some challenges ahead of me this season moving up to the Pro Women’s class, plus, switching over to the Ski-Doo brand, but I’m physically and mentally prepared, and am ready to make this CBR Team and our sponsors proud of our accomplishments!” – Gabby Hallstrom @gabbyhallstrom
