Nowthen, Minn. (July 10, 2020) – Hemmer Motorsports is pleased to announce the signing of Mitchell Thelen to field the team’s Pro-Lite class entry. Thelen is a dedicated rider on the AMSOIL Championship Snocross tour and although missing last season to heal a knee injury, has proven in previous seasons that he has the tools to be a top contender.
During the 2018-2019 season, Thelen made his way to the podium in four Sport finals including his season highlight at the Seneca Allegany Snocross National (Salamanca, New York) claiming wins in rounds 11 and 12. Thelen finished third overall in the season ending points championship after battling for the top positions for much of the season. Thelen garnered a top-10 finish in the Sport class points championship for two consecutive seasons (2016-2017 and 2017-2018), both of which were highlighted by multiple podiums and wins.
Thelen enters the 2020-2021 season with a renewed drive for success after taking a season off to rehab a knee injury. His goal is to become a podium contender in his rookie season in the Pro-Lite division.

After being sidelined last year due to my ACL surgery, I am healed 100% and I have dedicated my summer to getting ready to come out swinging at the season opener and make the most of this great opportunity.”
