Krajicek Racing, the family-backed Arctic Cat team who has become a growing presence on the ISOC national snocross tour, has locked in their 2023 rider lineup. Standout Sport racer Domenic Hegmen has joined the squad this season where he will be headlining the team as he moves into the Pro Lite division.
Hegman secured two Junior class Championship in his first year of competition before moving directly to Sport where he finished fourth overall in 2022. The Rogers, Minnesota rider is not wasting any time moving up again this season where he hopes to quickly learn the ropes on a well-equipped team who is willing to patiently see him through his rookie season in what will be the toughest class in the series. The move to Arctic Cat is not completely unfounded as the Hegman family has a long history with the brand dating back to Domenic’s grandfather, as well as his father, who raced Cat’s in the late 90’s.
Kolton Krajicek will line up for his second season in the Sport class, hoping to get more track time and main event experience after sitting out a good portion of the 2022 schedule with a wrist injury. Kolton will also continue to play a role in mentoring the team’s younger racers including Owen Eide in the transition ranks and Isaac Otto in the 200 division.
Eide is a seasoned national tour racer who races out of his family’s trailer, while Otto, the son of team crew chief David Otto, will contest the full regional schedule and test the waters at the national level.
