(Minneapolis, MN) This weekend watch top athletes trek to Elk River, MN and battle it out on the track at the Polaris Timbersled Dual Snow BikeCross Qualifier lubricated by Quicksilver Powersports Lubricants.
The Qualifier will feature a pair of races, where athletes will vie for prize money and an invite to X Games 2018 in Aspen Colorado. The top five Snow Bike athletes from each Qualifier race will receive automatic bids to the Snow BikeCross competition at X Games Aspen January 25-28 2018. Additionally, the two athletes with the best-combined finish score from both qualifying races will also receive invites. A total of 12 riders will punch their tickets to Aspen at Snow BikeCross at ERX!
“Here we go”, says Joe Duncan, Sport Organizer, “year two at ERX motor park, where last year the Largest SnowBikeCross race in the World happened and multiple racers were invited to X Games Aspen. We are doing it again this year with the Polaris Timbersled Dual Qualifier, Lubricated by Quicksilver-Products.com. The top racers from around the world once again roll in for TWO qualifying races on one of the best SnowBikeCross courses outside of X Games. Snow Guns are working over time and the Great ERX crew are preparing for another great event.”
Top action sports athletes like Monster Energy’s Josh Hill and Kody Kamm, and Timbersleds’ Darrin Mees and Jimmy Jarret will compete head to head with other action sports stars, X Games medalists, snow bike racers and backcountry riders, Motocross, EnduroCross, CrossCountry dirt bike racers and other forms of racing athletes on a specifically designed high action course built for Snow Bikes.
Darrin Mees can’t wait to get back out on the track, “I’m very excited to come to ERX, December 16th for the Dual Qualifier and my shot at returning to X Games Aspen for the 4th time. It’s the best Snow BikeCross event of the year, outside of X Games of course, because most of the top riders are there and it’s a great track and facility. The sport has grown huge over the last year and there’s a lot of competition, so it should make for really good racing. We’re going to be ready to go on my Huber Motorsports -Timbersled with M9 Suspension and Quicksilver Lubricants Snowbike to kick some Ass.”
