KC Motorsport jumped out to an early start with their 2017-18 snocross program, when they brought their full team lineup transporter and Finley Motors, FLY Racing, Polaris race sleds to an Open House at the Alexandria Technical College in Alexandria, Minnesota.
The school offers a wide range of study in transportation and mechanics with specific degrees in Powersports, Marine and Motorcycles. Team mechanic Jeff Torgerson is a graduate of the college and currently sits on the advisory board for the marine and small engines programs, in addition to being a partner in a full-service marine dealership in Richmond, Minnesota.
Team owner Karl Christian, along with drivers Evan Christian, Jay Lura and Lura’s parent’s Josh and Jessica Lura were all on hand to interact with current and prospective students and talk about the upcoming race season.
