Evan Christian Posts Career Best Pro Lite Finish
Finley, ND (January 17, 2022) – Evan Christian turned in the best performance of his young rookie season in the Pro Lite class, finishing seventh in Saturday night’s main event in Dubuque, Iowa. Earlier in the night, Evan swept his two qualifying rounds, giving him three total heat race wins for the season.
On Friday, Christian opened the weekend at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds by going 2-4 in his heat races, continuing to mix it up with class veterans. Evan would finish 11th in Friday’s main. The combined point total for the weekend propelled him into seventh place in the overall championship standings, just 13 points back of the top three.
Evan Daudt struggled through qualifying on Friday but made it through the last chance qualifier and went on to pick up a top 10 result in the final in ninth. On Saturday, Daudt was running as high as eighth in the main event before an on-track incident relegated him to 12th.
