Gustav Sahlsten has been impressive since joining the ISOC Pro class, filling in on the Green Mountain Racing Team. The relatively unknown racer, at least in the U.S., was immediately up to speed at his debut in Shakopee, Minnesota and has consistently finished inside the top 10 in main events. Sahlsten’s future with the series is in question as the team searches for additional funding to get him back for New York, but that hasn’t stopped him from keeping his name in the international spotlight during the current break in the ISOC schedule.

Snowcross Super League season 2 started this weekend at Boden Energy Arena, Sweden. Head-to-head Domintor race and monstrous race track served all snowcross fans a fantastic season start show. 

Weather was -20C while 160 racers started their battle first on fast pace Dominator race on friday and with full race heats on saturday. 

Gustav Sahlsten had found his speed on Boden Energi Arena. Sahlsten took the hole shots from every heat and led all  heats from start to finish. There were no-one to beat Gustav Sahlsten this weekend. Battle was hard for the other podiums behind Sahlsten. Martin Johannson battled with Emil Hansson through the final. Hansson had a small mistake on the corner and Johannson was able to finish second. Hansson finished third.  John Stenberg took a false start and had to start the final from the back row. Stenberg raced through the laps and was able to finish fourth on the Super League final. 

Ladies class was dominated by Hilda Öhman. Öhman wan both finals on Friday and Saturday.  Davina Bacteman finished the final second and Thea Arnesson third.

Pro lite final was ruled by Swedish racers. Anton Lindström took the holeshot and kept the lead from start to finnish. Even the Superlane didn´t drop Lindström from the top. Linus Åberg had tight battle with Pontus Lundström and Linus Eriksson. Anton Lindström wan the final. Linus Åberg took silver and third place went to Pontus Lundström who wan the dominator title on Friday. Linus Eriksson finished fourth. 

More than 70 junior racers competed today and winners from each class were Oliver Bröyt, Niklas isokääntä and Onni Niskala. Sport class winner was Jesse Laurila and best of  legends was Jarno Anttila.
