Shakopee, MN (3/8/21) – Hentges Racing left the Pirtek Snocross National at a full ERX Motorpark in Elk River, MN with consistent qualifying and results to maintain their 2nd and 5th overall points standings. The two man Pro Polaris team transitions to the last four rounds of the season with full momentum.
Consistency has been the key of Kamm and Norum’s success this season. The Hentges duo acknowledges they need to not only maintain, but also give their Polaris’ an extra push for both to finish in the top three standings by seasons end.
Kamm said, “I always have fun at ERX Motorpark, and this weekend was no different. The top ten points race behind me are some of the tightest margins I can remember in the Pro class. I won’t be looking back though as we move into the last four rounds.”
On Friday and Saturday, both Kamm and Norum had near similar qualifying and finishing results. Saturday improved with a slightly different track layout. Kamm qualified 3-1 and finished fifth, while Norum went 5-4 and battled closely with Kamm finishing 6th.
Norum said, “We have two more stops before ending the season and I’m looking forward to standing on the podium like I did in Fargo. That’s a great feeling.”
Hentges Racing team owner, Nate Hentges said, “This season has been one of the most exciting for our team and sponsors. We’ve really learned how to dial in the needed speed and handling from our Polaris 600Rs. And we also know what we need to work on the next two weeks before the Eagle River National.”
Next up, Hentges Racing will travel to Eagle River, WI on March 19-20, 2021. Currently Kody Kamm is 2nd in National Pro points, and Oskar Norum 5th.
