Nowthen, Minn. – Hemmer Motorsports is proud to announce the return of PRO LITE rider Nickolas Lorenz for the 2023 AMSOIL Championship Snocross season. The team is eager for Nick to return and make a run at the championship in his second full season with Hemmer Motorsports.
Last season, the Kenosha, Wis., native proved he has the consistency and ability to be a serious threat amid the highly competitive PRO LITE class. In 2021, Lorenz finished 3rd in championship points, scoring one win and multiple podiums. Nick has been training rigorously all summer and looks to build on his stellar 2021 season.
Also returning to the team roster is a three-time champion in the 120 Champ class. Avery Hemmer will make the move to a full-size Polaris Axys R racing the always competitive Transition 9-13 and Junior Girls 9-13. Avery showed her ability to be a contender in both classes and has her sights set to be at the front in each respective division.
Lila Hemmer will once again contend in the 120 Champ class after scoring her first national podium at the final race of the 2022 season. Proving she had the race craft and speed last season, she has her sights set on race wins and being in the championship hunt for 2022-2023. Lila will also begin her journey on the bigger sleds, where she will contest the Transition 8-10 class at select nationals and regionals.
“I am pumped for the upcoming season,” Team co-owner Nick Hemmer said. “All of our riders had an outstanding 2022 and as a team, it was by far our most successful season.”
“Our entire team, our mechanics, the riders, and the guys at Polaris have shown the drive and determination to be at the top every time we hit the track,” added team co-owner Steve Hemmer. “That drive along with all of our great sponsors, we are ready to have an even better season.”
In addition to our riders, Hemmer Motorsports is proud to have all of our sponsors continue their support. We couldn’t do this without each and every one of them and we thank them all from the bottom of our heart.
