Winnipeg, MB (June19, 2018) – The BOSS Racing/Jimmy John’s team is pleased to announce that we have extended our long-standing relationship with BRP Ski-Doo and will be fielding a Pro only team on the ISOC national snocross tour in 2018-19.
Leading the way is Norwegian standout racer Elias Ishoel. Ishoel started the 2018 season a little off the pace while recovering from an injury, but showed big improvement throughout the year. Ishoel won a major championship in Europe in January and wrapped up the season in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin with his best finishes in the North American championship. With a full summer to continue the healing process and work towards peak fitness, Elias will be a threat to win on opening day in Duluth, Minnesota.
2017 Pro Lite Champion Aki Pihlaja will be moving up to join Ishoel in the premier Pro division. Pihlaja fell just short of defending his title in 2018 but the veteran rider from Finland was competitive every weekend, including a number of podiums and a class win at round 14 in Iowa.
The team will continue to be based out of Princeton, Minnesota during the season and is looking forward making a serious run at the ACS Pro Championship.
