The USXC racing series finished up their season in Naytahwaush, Minnesota with an unplowed 100 mile ice race. The snow-covered ground, high winds, and warm temperatures created watercross-like condtitions in some sections. Taylor Bunke managed to work his way through the course quickly, winning his first-ever USXC pro stock race with Chad Lian finishing second and Aaron Christiansen taking third. Bunke also took home a win on Saturday night in the Pro/Semi-Pro challenge. He worked his way through the pack chasing down Semi-Pro rider David Brown who placed second and Pro rider Andy Wenzlaff who finished third.
Pro Stock season points rolled out a little differently this year with Aaron Christiansen taking first and Wes Selby and Zach Herfindahl rounding out the podium. Pro Open looked similar with Wes Selby and Aaron Christensen taking first and second, but Taylor Bunke finished third in this class. In the Semi-Pro class David Brown captured a victory with Charlie and Dan Revering taking the second and third place spots.
