2018 Eagle River World Champion Blaine Stephenson got his new season off to a flying start, winning the Champ 440 class at the historic Canadian Power Toboggan Championships in Beausejour, Manitoba.

Stephenson, who joined the powerful Wahl Bros./Jimmy John’s team during the off-season is a rising star in ice oval racing who overcame a serious injury at the start of the 2017 season, to bounce back as a regular contender with the likes of established top dogs such as Nick Van Strydonk and Gunnar Sterne.
