Elias Ishoel extended his point lead at ERX, while Francis Pelletier took a liking to the new triple crown format and made a big jump in the rankings on the strength of two second place finishes. Kody Kamm continues to be Mr. Steady but needs to make a splash before season’s end, while Emil Harr joined the multi-race winner club with his second overall of the year on Friday.

Adam Peterson continues to be on a run that is setting him up for what could be a really great 2024 but, like Sioux Falls, had a couple of issues that cost him from scoring a full plate of championship points. Aki Pihlaja has been impressive since making a return from injury a few weeks ago and the shorter sprint races of the triple crown could play into his strength as a good starter should the series elect to continue with the format thru the remainder of the season.
