2018 Border Battle Series Results/Champions

Thank you to each and every rider and family who took part in the inaugural Border Battle XC season. This summer we hosted 567 riders from eight states and two Canadian provinces, at three rounds with several classes featuring over 30 riders.

14 different racers took part in all three rounds, qualifying for the championship prizes shown below. We would also like to acknowledge those racers who took part in multiple rounds and competed for the their individual class titles. In addition to Championship awards, we will be posting a list of class champion awards later this week.

Nathan Ferderer was our Grand Prize winner sweeping the AA class and accumulating the necessary rider bonus points to top all racers. However, we would like to give a special shout out to 2018 Rider of the Year Troy  Horbaty, who competed in two classes at all three rounds amassing 256 combined points.

We would also like to sincerely thank all of our sponsors who’s support helped get the series off the ground and provide over $10,000 in prizes to our participants. We have already been hard at it during the past couple of weeks to secure new venues for 2019 with a goal of five rounds in Minnesota and bordering states.
